(It appears that full Charity events will no longer be held, and some of the cats associated with them, also known as Celebrity Heroes, are now available by other means.) Of the smaller events, two run concurrently with full events: Mew Year's Eve mini-events during Purrismas and Lunar New Year mini-events during Valentine events. Eight of these are or were recurring full events with storyline quests: Halloween, Purrismas, Valentine, Spring Festival, Call of Heroes, Summer, Anniversary, and Charity.
There are or were 13 different events that have cats associated with them. Although it has varied widely in the past and could change in the future, recent events usually run for roughly 6 to 8 weeks each with no more than a day between the end of one and the beginning of the next. Some events recur every year while others have a less regular schedule, and a few were either singular events or have apparently been discontinued. Minor or mini-events only sometimes include new heroes but rarely include story quests. Major or full events feature a quest-driven story campaign and the introduction of new heroes and other collectibles. Castle Cats is largely structured around limited-time seasonal events.
